Have you found a city, beautiful, built in a day?
A tree stands tall, yet first it knew the clay.
Patience, my friend, is the soil of every seed,
Nurtured by time, by care, by every deed.
Like the spider, spinning silk so fine,
Its web, a masterpiece, stitch by design.
Not in haste, but thread by thread, it grows,
A quiet strength, in which true wisdom flows.
The tower rises not from roof to ground,
But stone by stone, with effort profound.
Have you seen a river force its path in haste?
No, it carves through rock with all gentleness.
Patience is not idleness, nor empty delay,
But the strength to pause, to trust the way.
It’s not the breeze that bends the mighty tree,
But the storm endured, where spirits awoke.
The tortoise, though slow, knows its steady pace,
Reaching the end, while others lose the race.
A journey of miles begins with one small stride—
Patience walks with us, always by our side.
Does not the sun set so that it can rise again?
In the night’s darkness, trust still in the dawn’s reign.
So, too, with dreams, goals might seem so far,
They inch closer with time, like each brighten star.
Have you watched the blacksmith at his fiery forge?
With every strike, the iron takes form and gorge.
But neither heat nor hammer works with speed;
The beauty in his craft is born from patient need.
Do we not wait for the harvest to grow,
Tending to fields through the wind and snow?
So too must we wait, for skill to refine,
For character to build, and for the soul to align.
Patience is not weakness, nor silent defeat,
But the courage to face what’s incomplete.
It molds the spirit, like the sculptor’s hand,
Turning rough stone into something grand.
So, hold fast to your dreams, though they seem far,
For even the brightest flame begins as a spark.
In skill, in growth, in love’s true art,
Patience is the key to every heart.
